Briefly about Demidov Industries AS.
Demidov Industries AS was established in 1998 aimed to produce special-property alloys based on aluminium. Since year 2000 we produce Aluminium master alloys and during year 2005 Demidov Industries AS started production of Ferro-alloys. Currently we obtain advanced technology facilities for production of Aluminium master alloys and Ferro-alloys and constantly working on their development. More than 50 % of employees in our company have higher education degree. Demidov Industries AS is ISO 9001:2000 certified.

Ferro-titanium
Master alloys are the main products of Demidov Industries AS. Our products allow the introduction of necessary alloying metals into Aluminium alloys easier, and some cases possible. This is true especially for ingredients with high melting point.
Example:
The alloy EN AW 5040, AlMg1.5Mn is used in a manufacturing of aluminium semi-finished products, main application for building structures.
According to the DIN EN 573 standard, it contains 0,9-1,4 % of Mn. This alloy is produced by introduction of manganese and magnesium in liquid aluminium. In order to avoid industrial losses on Mn addition, manufacturers of these alloys instead of 1 % of pure Mn metal use master alloys: AlMn10, AlMn20, AlMn25, which brings essential economic advantage.
| Also with the help of master alloys, so called - modifiers or grain refiners, one can change the structure of grains in aluminium alloys. As a rule, they are added in rather small quantities into the melt.
Example:
The alloy AlSi10Mg is used in the manufacturing of aluminium casting details, like aluminium wheels for cars. In order to obtain good mechanical properties, it is necessary to make modification of this alloy, that is to change intercrystalline structure of this alloy.
It can be achieved by the introduction of 0,1% AlSr10 into the melt.

As a result, master alloys allow an exact dosage of added elements into melt, their fast dissolution and distribution, gives an essential reduction of costs per unit of end product.
